Sleep Studies

Mercy Health and Aged Care | Genesis Sleep Care

Patients with debilitating health issues such as sleep apnoea, narcolepsy and restless leg syndrome will be among those who benefit from the new Sleep Studies Centre at The Mater Misericordiae Hospital Bundaberg. The overnight sleep laboratory, a joint venture between the hospital and Genesis SleepCare, is located within a newly refurbished area of the hospital.

We are delighted to welcome this important service for the hospital and the local community. Sleep studies in a formal hospital setting ensure patients receive the highest quality sleep study available with expert technical attendance throughout the night. Sleep studies are reported and patients may be seen in consultation with a Genesis Respiratory and Sleep Specialist (Dr. Charl Liebenberg) or with their GP (as directed by the referring doctor).
