Mercy Food Service

Opened in 1996, Mercy Food Service is a state-of-the-art facility situated in Campbell Street, Rockhampton. The service was established to provide meals to all five Mater Hospitals and three Aged Care facilities in the Mercy Health and Aged Care Central Queensland Group. The Food Service operates using a "cook chill" process, meals are then delivered to each of our facilities where the food is maintained at the correct temperature until it is plated and delivered to the patient or resident.

Mercy Food Service operates four days a week and employs a staff of 14 Employees, 4 Trainees and 1 Manager. In addition to servicing the hospitals and aged care facilities owned by the Group, Mercy Food Service also provides its top-notch service to external organisations. Mercy Food Service is fully accredited with HACCP.
